Garden Project

WORKING WITH TODAY’S YOUTH MEANS A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR EVERYONE

The Boys and Girls Club of the Redwoods is planning to install a garden at the Harris Street location next spring and could use your support! The Garden Project is in its initial phase, and the scope and extent of the project depends partially on what kind of funds can be raised.

The most expensive year of the project will be year one, in which we hope to install a permanent and complete community-style garden for the kids to learn and grow with. We are looking for support, in the form of donations of all kinds.

Your monetary support would assist the process by providing for the larger elements of the garden that will have significant price tags, such as a greenhouse, shed and raised beds.

Or, if your business has any of the items on the wish list below and wanted to donate them to the effort, this kind of exchange is equally welcomed!

This garden project will be as good as our community makes it. Many hands make light work, and even small individual efforts add up to benefit the whole in ways greater than one of us alone!

Become a Garden Sponsor!

Your financial support will make a huge, and ongoing difference in the lives of children. For individuals and businesses who are interested in participating in the following advertising structure, we are offering a Wall of fame for contributions of a certain size. The garden itself will be fenced and gated. Advertising signage will be placed either on the fencing, near the entryway into the garden or on the side of the garden shed in a prominent location. We welcome also welcome donations from people that wish to make a difference but remain anonymous.

SUSTAINING SPONSOR
$2500 or more
Offering a large, one-time sustaining donation, means that this project can move forward with the full intent of creating the most complete learning garden environment. This kind of sponsorship comes with an individualized 11×17 vinyl banner displayed for 5 years and permanent placement at the top of the wall of fame indicating sustaining sponsorship. Your name or business will be advertised and promoted on the Boy’s and Girl’s Club website and on social media as a sustaining donor as well.

FOUNDING DONOR
$500-$2000
This size donation comes with a logo or business name placement on a communal donor banner displayed for 5 years as well as permanent placement on the wall of fame, indicating status as a founding donor. Your name or business will be advertised and promoted on the Boy’s and Girl’s Club website and on social media as a founding donor as well.

GRASS ROOTS
Up to $500
The area where the garden is going to be is currently all grass… and it’s the grass roots where things really begin. A financial contribution of any size will be utilized and welcomed by this effort. Our project will require many small actions on the part of multiple individuals to materialize fully and your donation will be so important to the success and sustenance of this garden. Every donation will be memorialized in gratitude on our permanent wall of fame in the garden and will be promoted online with the other donors and sponsors.
