Please join us Saturday, February 18th, for our annual Champions for Youth Dinner, formerly known as Bids for Kids.

Our theme this year is Film Noir. Channel your favorite 1940s actress or gangster by dressing in black or white attire and join us from 6pm to 10pm at Redwood Acres Home Ec Hall.

With elegant music, a Dutch raffle, a live auction, and a fabulous catered dinner, this will surely be a night to remember!

This year we are excited to announce awards to three outstanding community members, Justin Zabel of Mercer Fraser, and Quentin Owsley of Owsley Electric, receiving the “Champions for Youth” award and Jerry Nelson, receiving “Volunteer of the Year.”

BGCR operates four sites in Humboldt County; the Eureka Clubhouse, the Eureka Teen Center, Pacific Union, and the McKinleyville Teen Center. In addition to these sites, we also host Teen Court, a juvenile diversion program proven to be an asset for teens.
