Boys & Girls Club of the Siskiyous

Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods is very proud to be able to serve as the sponsoring organization supporting grassroots efforts for a new Boys & Girls Club organization in Siskiyou County. Part of the magic of the Boys & Girls Club Movement is the willingness of independent local organizations to help one another do great things for the kids who need us most.

Boys & Girls Club of the Siskiyous is part of an incredible national organization with amazing local talent, staff and volunteers, that get things done here in Siskiyou County. We opened our doors in June 2017, launching our first summer camp. Since then we have served over 250 members in our summer and afterschool programs, and have reached over 700 youth and growing.

Boys & Girls Club of the Siskiyous offers a safe place for young people to learn, play, and grow outside of school hours. At the Club, there are a variety of programs aimed at achieving three priority outcomes for youth: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. As a new organization, we’re proud to receive mentoring and support from the Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods, based in Eureka, that has been meeting the needs of youth on the Northern California coast for nearly 80 years, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs Movement across the nation and at military installations across the world. Part of the magic of the Movement is the willingness of independent local organizations to help each other do great things for the kids who need us most.
